What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Program 1

Comfort Corner, Inc. collects, cleans, mend, displays and distributes used clothing. This is done on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., by a slate of approximately 20 volunteers who each work a minimum of 3 hours per month. Comfort Corner, Inc. also distributes food to the needy, based on USDA guidelines. These distributions are semi-monthly on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. These food distributions are staffed by approximately 10-15 volunteers. Emergency assistance for heating, water, electric bills or medical and dental emergencies for the needy is provided bases on Board of Director approval.
