Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Amity Intern Teachers
Program provides Amity Intern teachers in the classrooms to enhance the Spanish Immersion experience in the classroom. The interns come from native Spanish-speaking countries and provide a native speaking voice and a cultural exchange to build on the standard Spanish Immersion curriculum.
Classroom Enrichment
Program provides specific programs for Windom School students to enhance the standard classroom curriculum. These programs include: Art Adventures, an art appreciation program administered in conjunction with the Minneapolis Institute of Arts; and BRAVO, a music appreciation program designed to provide music appreciation , develop music listening skills in children, promote exposure to classical musical masterpieces and to guide children to recognize and experience music as a form of creative expression. These programs would not otherwise be available to the students due to school budget limitations.
