What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Bible Access
In most places where Bible League International serves, people have very limited access to the Bibles and biblical resources because of persecution, poverty, or limited ability to read. In addition to providing other versions, bible League translates, publishes, and provides Scriptures in everyday language, making the truth of God available to all. Many Bible League biblical resources are available in more than 30 languages, with additional translations underway.
Bible-based Literacy
For those who cannot read, the Bible is a closed book. Bible-based literacy programs present the life-transforming Word of God to the less-educated, poor, and marginalized, helping them meet Jesus as they work toward a better future through learning to read.
Project Philip Bible Studies
The heart of Bible League International's global strategy is Project Philip evangelic and discipleship Bible studies. This study prepares and emboldens believers to introduce and help others understand God's Word
Church Planter Training
In places where there are no local churches, and for growing churches eager to share the Gospel with others in their communities, Church Planter Training provides Bibles and biblical resources and training that leads to new, sustainable churches where they are needed most. Training and guiding students and church leaders who are eager to share the Gospel, Church Planter Training equips and enables them to reach others and care for the spiritual needs of their communities.

Goals & Strategy
Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.
Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Bible League International serves the under-resourced Church globally through the provision of Bibles, biblical resources, and training to transform lives worldwide through God's Word.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Bible League International engages under-resourced Church through comprehensive Bible studies, Church Planter Training and ministry strategy that enables people to follow Jesus and to experience fellowship in a local church:
Project Philip Bible Studies
In most places where Bible League International serves, people have very limited access to the Scriptures because of persecution, poverty, or limited ability to read. In addition to providing other versions, Bible League International trains leaders (we call Philips) who invite others to study the Gospel of John. As part of Project Philip, each participant receives a Bible for personal use, and is encouraged to become part of a local church.
Evangelism and Discipleship
Project Philip uses two kinds of Bible study: evangelistic and discipleship. All studies are available for the languages and cultures of the regions of Bible League International partnerships.
Bible-based Literacy
For those who cannot read, the Bible is a closed book. Bible-based literacy programs present the life-transforming Word of God to the less-educated, poor, and marginalized, helping them learn about Christ as they work toward a better future through learning to read.
Church Planter Training
In places where there are no local churches, and for growing churches eager to share the Gospel with those who have never heard of the gift of salvation, Bible League International provides resources and training for church planters. We help train and encourage students who are eager to show God's love, in remote areas and the world's busiest cities, so they can teach others and care for the spiritual needs of their communities.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Bible League International has been planting Bibles around the world for over 80 years. We partner with local churches and agencies through an extensive network to identify places of greatest need and highest potential impact. Through the generous support of donors, Bible League International is able to accomplish our goals. A team of dedicated, professional staff are strategically placed around the world to promote strong partnerships, ensure ethical business practices, and support ministries founded on the Word of God.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Since 1938, Bible League has provided more than 840 million Bibles and other biblical resources around the world. Additionally, over 48 million people have been reached with God's Word, over 3.5 million people trained to share God's Word and over 67,000 churches planted.
