The Acupuncture Program, the outcome of a partnership between CWHC and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, offers an alternative health care option.  Acupuncture addresses a wide variety of health concerns including the common cold, stress management, smoking cessation, and weight loss.  The majority of insurance providers do not cover the cost of acupuncture; coupled with high out-of-pocket costs, acupuncture is generally not an affordable health care option for many individuals.  CWHC, however, offers acupuncture on a sliding scale of $75-$15, making this service affordable and accessible.
