Mission

The Boy Scouts of America was founded in 1910 and exists today to serve others by helping instill values in young people and prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime and achieve their full potential. Community-base organizations receive national charters to use the Scouting program as part of their own youth work in the Three Fires Council. The 730 groups in our Council have goals compatible with those of the BSA and include religious, educational, civic, fraternal, business and labor groups, governments, corporations, professional associations and citizens' groups.

Scout Program

Your Scouting adventure starts here. Cub Scouting is all about building confidence, communications and peer interaction skills in a fun and engaging small group environment.

Boy Scouting - Step up your outdoor skills and learn lifelong leadership skills while challenging your body and mind through physical outdoor activities. Give back to your community while earning rank and demonstrating responsibility through leading and mentoring others.

Venturing - Explore your passions, make new friends and plan your adventures in a youth-led, co-ed Crew. Build your leadership, event-planning, organization and communications skills. Rappel. Shoot the rapids. Hit the back country. Volunteer and serve others. The choice is yours!

The Vision of the Three Fires Council is to support and implement the mission of the Boy Scouts of America through the exceptional delivery of local youth programs and outdoor activities. We are dedicated to bringing to life the Scout Oath and Law.

There's plenty of outdoor fun here in Three Fires Council. From our resident camps in Oxford, Wisconsin and Elgin, Illinois to our summer day camps and weekend activities - you're sure to find an adventure just around the corner.

The Boy Scouts of America is the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. Through our world-class programs, we bring together youth of every race, religion, ethnic background, and economic status in programs to develop character, citizenship, and fitness.
