Mission

Our website www.wsana.org  provides information to allow individuals with disabilities to live independently in the community and be a part of the community in which they live. In January of 2009 WSANA created abrand new website. . WSANA strives to educate the pulic about the human and legal rights of people with disabilities as well as information for persons with disabilities and their families.. In doing so, WSANA supports the work of health organizations,as well as the work being done by many agencies advocating for persons with disabilities. WSANA works with governmental agencies and elected officials on the local, state and federal level. WSANA's website by the middle of December 2009 has had over 197,000 visitors. WSANA's Executive Director was awarded the Advocate of the Year award by Progress Center for Independent Living in October, 2009.

WSANA maintains its website www.wsana.org, which is highly visited and also works with governments and agencies advancing the information resources of persons with disabilities as well as informing and educating those who serve persons with disabilities. WSANA gets its financial aid from sponsors to its website for just $40.00 a year. Also receives donations from several sources yet has a small treasury
