Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Emergency Financial Assistance
Caregiving Network, Inc. helps low-income (below 100% poverty level) individuals and families through their emergency financial situations. A common sense, individual, and biblical approach is given to requests and responses to needs. Caregiving Network provides food, clothing, household essentials, financial support with utilities and rent, employment and budgeting services. Clients apply for assistance with the use of our Application form in which we request monthly income and expenses.
Food and Personal Care Pantry
A client may visit our food pantry up to five times per year. Clients shop our shelves to determine that which they will actually use. Approximately one week's worth of food and personal care items are provided to match the size of the family.
Clothing Pantry
Clients may visit the clothing pantry four times per year (once per season) and are provided three outfits. We also provide new underwear and socks. During the Fall and Winter seasons, Fall and Winter coats are given to those who have need of such.
Homelife Essentials Pantry
Clients beginning life in new homes after being homeless are provided with kitchenware, bedding, and towels. Our clients are referred to us from local shelters.
Gasoline Vouchers
Clients are provided with a limited number of gasoline vouchers (up to $20 worth per year) for trips to medical appointments and to their place of employment for their first couple of weeks of employment (before they receive their first paycheck).
