Disaster Relief
Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast and Green Library Project responded by delivering over 30,000 thousand books to school and public libraries as they reopened.

Community Partnerships
As an emerging clearinghouse in the Austin area, Green Library Project supports many other non-profit organizations by providing a means for exchanging books of interest.

Free Books
After allocating books for other programs the remaining books are offered free to the public as the last opportunity to extend the life of books before they are taken to Ecology Action for material recycling.

Green Library Facility
Green Library Project, cooperating with other non-profit organizations and agencies, plans to construct a modern library in the Austin area using "green building" methods.
