What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Haiti Home Ownership and Mortgage Expansion (HOME)

To catalyze the supply and demand sides of the housing value chain to create a sustainable market for affordable housing, and allow 1,750 households to build or improve their homes through longer-term housing finance.

Population(s) Served

The goal of the CDP is to create an Agricultural and Rural Finance Toolbox that will guide programming and help credit unions worldwide to serve rural populations. Creating this Toolbox will allow WOCCU and its partner credit unions to address two primary constraints faced by farmers and other rural enterprises: 1) the limited availability of reasonably priced, high quality and appropriate financial services, and 2) the difficulty obtaining the specialized technical assistance needed to diversify production, improve productivity, access new markets and improve household incomes. This integrated approach will directly address the development challenge in improving economic opportunities for rural farmers and small agribusinesses by
simultaneously increasing market opportunities and providing access to inputs and tailored financial services.

Population(s) Served

To increase Ukrainian CU's capacity to deliver agricultural finance products and services.
