Mission

Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education, recognizes those students who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service. The only honor society permitted to bear the name Jesuit, ASN encourages its members to a lifetime pursuit of intellectual development, deepening Ignatian spirituality, service to others, and a commitment to the core principles of Jesuit education.

Alpha Sigma Nu

Alpha Sigma Nu is the only honor society permitted to bear the name Jesuit. It recognizes students who distinguish themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service and encourages its members to a lifetime pursuit of intellectual development, deepening Ignatian spirituality, service to others, and a commitment to the core principles of Jesuit education.

Population(s) Served

Chapters at the 28 US Jesuit Universities, Campion and Regis Colleges in Canada, Sogang University in Seoul, Korea, and at Loyola Andalucia University in Spain. All Chapters induct students annually and hold programs promoting the ASN values of Scholarship, Loyalty, and Service.

The Alpha Sigma Nu scholarship is given annually to a member at each of the 32 ASN student Chapters, funded by ASN donor members.

Fall conference with the goal of training and inspiring student Chapter officers with the goal of their returning to campus and leading a successful ASN year.
