Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee, Inc.

Hunger Task Force operates a food bank that delivers food free of charge to a network of 80 food pantries, soup kitchens and homeless shelters in Milwaukee County. Through donated food, government commodity grants, purchased food and freshly grown produce from our Work Farm, we guarantee a supply that assures breakfast, lunch and dinner for a family based on their household size, culture, diet and religion. In our network, clients can receive food on the day they need it and in the neighborhood where they live. We oversee operations within our network according to the Standards of Excellence, which assure that food is stored properly, distributed responsibly and that individuals are treated with equality, respect and dignity.
 

As a locally established and community supported food bank, Hunger Task Force provides all food and delivery ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE. This model of Free and Local differentiates our food bank operation from almost all food banks in the nation, because they charge storage and delivery fees.
