What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
The Veritas Society
The Veritas Society utilizes the power of mass media, especially digital, to change hearts and minds to value human life. Women 18-34 have over 80% of Wisconsin's abortions and these women are the Veritas Society's target market. Utilizing themes that are researched, the Veritas Society works to educate young women in a positive manner. This program has been airing ads since 1995 and Wisconsin abortion rates and ratios have decreased considerably since then. Wisconsin's rate of 7 and ratio of 11 is far below the national average of 19.4 and 24 respectively. In addition, Wisconsin's rate and ratio is lower than its neighbors in Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois.
Emergency Grants to Pregnant Women
Pregnancy grants for pregnant women needed emergency financial assistance. Most common circumstances are for women fleeing an abusive partner or for medical reasons. Grants are one-time and sent directly to the billing entity - like a landlord. Women must be referred by a pro-life pregnancy help center within Wisconsin.
College Grants
Grants are awarded to college students who are starting or continuing right-to-life groups on their respective campus.
Teen Leadership Training
The future of our movement is in its youth. Wisconsin Right to Life holds a special youth leadership convention in April each year and four leadership training camps in the summer.
