THE MISSION OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF VOCA ASSISTANCE ADMINISTRATORS IS TO ENSURE ACCESSIBLE QUALITY SERVICES FOR CRIME VICTIMS NATIONWIDE AND TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNICATION, TRAINING, AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO EFFECTIVELY RESPOND TO THE ISSUES AND CHALLENGES OF SUPPORTING THOSE SERVICES.

IN COOPERATION WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE OFFICE FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME, THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ASSISTANCE ADMINISTRATORS MANAGED THE NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK COMMUNITY AWARENESS PROJECTS IN 2020. THIS PROJECT FUNDED A TOTAL OF 68 LOCAL PROJECTS TO ENHANCE VICTIMS' RIGHTS AND SERVICES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PLANNED AND ORGANIZED THE 2020 VIRTUAL NATIONAL VOCA TRAINING CONFERENCE FOR STATE VOCA VICTIM ASSISTANCE AND STATE CRIME VICTIM COMPENSATION PROGRAMS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROMOTED RESOURCES TO SUSTAIN AND EXPAND DIRECT SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF CRIME AND PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO ITS MEMBERS.
