A 4-H camp is facilitated for youth held at Camp Susan for approximately a week each summer in July. High school 4-H members serve as counselors and attend various tranings to provide them with the information necessary to address situations such as homesickness, campers who do not wish to participate, etc. During the trainings, they are also provided time to plan activities to keep all campers busy and entertained while at camp. Counselors are responsible for creating lists of materials needed,

Achievement Day is held in the fall to recognize youth for their accomplishments over the past 4-H year and shortly after that a Leader's Banquet is held to recognize the 4-H adult leaders who have volunteered numerous hours of their time over the past year. It provides a sense of accomplishment for members and leaders to be recognized for the good things they have contributed to and the new things they have learned.
