Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Operation: Take Me Home
Operation: Take Me Home is a lifesaving program for the special need population that includes electronic tracking bracelets for people that wander or "bolt and run", registration and disaster preperation programs that allow us to locate the special population in the event of an emergency or disaster and the Special Population Planner, which is a state-of-the-art GIS software program that allows us to do emergency planning and visually address the affected population. The program is state-wide and benefits the special need population.
Licensed Adult Day Facility
Community Center for adults with Autism, Alzheimer's or Intellectual Disabilities so they can socialize and learn skills that allow them to live independent lives.
Calli Outreach Center
The Calli Outreach Center is a drop-in service that at-risk individuals can come and get warm, get a meal and be safe. Volunteers do a street outreach program and leave bags of necessary items to those individuals living on the street. There are two locations and our second location has showers and clothing for those individuals that are transitioning from street living. We will provide a safe house for those individuals that are seeking a life away from the one they know.
Finding The Lost
This program investigates cold cases and victims that are all but forgotten after many years of no clues as to what happened and why they went missing. We utilize various resources, including raw DNA data files that have been uploaded to genealogy websites and identification made by tracing the family trees of relatives who were predicted to be close genetic matches in the database.
Andrew J Rameas Memorial Fund
This program raises money to assist in the purchase of service animals for Veterans with PTSD, Individuals diagnosed with Autism and other at-risk populations.
CERT
The Community Emergency Response Team is the first line of defense when a community is in trouble. Our staff and volunteers are trained to go to the aid of a community in trouble and take the necessary steps in an emergency to save lives, search for and rescue victims safely and organize volunteers to be effective. Training includes ICS courses, among other courses, for staff and volunteers.
Professionals Against the Trafficking of Humans
This program trains church congregations, hotel staff and individuals, how to spot someone who is being trafficked. We provide safe houses, counseling and services to allow victims to support themselves and leave the trafficking situation
