Young Womens Christian Association

Children's Center provides childcare for children 6 weeks to 12 years old from 6 am until midnight, the only 2nd shift Center in the area. Preschool is also offered to those 3-5 years old. The Center is licensed for 103 children. Our Youth Department has before and after school programs, as well as Holiday camps, Summer camp for our area youth from ages 5-12. YWise Girls and Guys are youth leadership groups who meet weekly with our Youth Director. The YWCA Wellness program guides our Fitness Center, exercise classes, as well as Aquatics department. Serving all ages of our community, a new Senior Services Director was added to staff to focus on activities for our older population. Crisis Services serves single women and women with children who are victims of domestic violence offering emergency shelter and transitional housing to over 300 people each year. The YWCA offers Enrichment programs and classes of many kinds to the community through informational classes and seminars, meditation and writing classes, bus trips, involvement in the Clinton Peace Coalition, the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, and the Woman of Achievement Awards Dinner.
