Mission

Rescue services which include equines, canines, felines, goats, exotic birds and livestock, water fowl and other barn yard animals as room permits. Angel Rescue specializes in those that are medically needy that other programs turn down because of the time and cost involved in their recovery. We strive to re-home as many of our rescues as possible. We work closely with local humane societies but work independently of other rescue organizations since our program works with medical issues that others often will turn away.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Angel Rescue's Equine program is our largest program with usually no less than 8 very medically needy equines. We do not place our medically needy rescues in foster homes. They remain at our president's private residence for medical care until they are well enough to be moved to foster homes or into adoptive homes. We also assist with other barnyard animals such as chickens, ducks, goats, and provide assistance to exotic animals as well as a large number of companion animals. We are a one-of-a-kind medically needy rescue program in Tennessee.
