What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Pride St. Louis exists to serve the LGBTQIA+ community in the Greater St. Louis region. Many people are still opposed to LGBTQIA+ rights and do not understand the issues our community experiences; our goal is to provide education to the St. Louis region, and advocacy for our LGBTQIA+ community.

Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goals include running PrideCenter (the region's LGBTQIA+ community center), providing scholarships, doing community outreach and events, advocating for the underprivileged, and operating PrideFest.

Our main strategy relies on the hard work of our many volunteers. Our volunteer board helps to lead other volunteers, and this works because of the shared passion for the LGBTQIA+ community that we share.

Our organization is comprised of sixteen board members, a number of coordinators, and several hundred volunteers. While we are an all-volunteer organization, the amount of staff we have creates a strong capability to reach our goals.

Most recently, Pride St. Louis started PrideCenter, the region's only LGBTQIA+ community center. We look forward to growing our programming to serve even more of the community.
