Family Services
CWAHbasic programs improve the living environment as needed. The public at large contributes through donations of furniture, appliances, household items, clothing, food for the pantry . In-kind is added to this budget $51,867
Parent Opportuity Program
Offers free developmental class work to parents who live in the City of St. Louis . Classes Include: GED preparation; computer training, "Let's Talk About Us/Group Therapy, GED, Job Readiness, Jewelry Making, Nutrition & Fitness Training.
Student Summer Enrichment Classes
Free developmental and educational classes offered to youth 5th-8th grade during the summer months. Also youth/students ( who complete the program) and their parents are offered an out-of-state travel opportunity to visit historic sites. This travel opportunity is called The Show-Me-Series.
The Institute for the Advancement of Jazz Study & Performance
The Institute provides youth the opportunity to explore their individual musical skills with concentration on exploring jazz styles, music theory, improvisation, sound engineering, Jazz history, plus individual & group music sessions with professional musicians.
Family First Homeownership Program
Our Homeownership program allows a family to reside for two years in preparation to purchase their first home. Pre-requisites: working full time for at least one year with an assessment that in two years their credit is reparable. Educational class work is offered through CWAH.
