Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Kids Fire Safety Program
Fire Safety and community service training for children along with meals, as an ongoing effort in support of Gear Up's commitment to act as Ambassadors of Goodwill in response to the September 11th attacks.
AMERICAN TRIBUTE
Our program pays tribute to our heroic first responders who continue to suffer and die from our exposures to toxins at Ground Zero. Through partnerships with organizations such as FISHER WALLACE and DAVID LYNCH FOUNDATION we are actively raising awareness of the problem and funds to help treat PTSD and sleep problems being faced by our heroic first responders. Additionally we acknowledge their sacrifice by listing their names on our American Tribute Flag
Hero Program
Gear Up Foundation is encouraging support of its efforts to bring first responders to 9/11 and warriors who serve in our military together at a historic memorial ceremony at Pearl Harbor each year on September 11. This continues to be the first event of its kind linking the only two attacks on America and those who answered the call.
UNITING OUR WORLD TRIBUTE DAY
Through our direct efforts, Gear Up Foundation has been able to secure agreements of every town municipality and school for children to have a moment of silence and tribute in honor and respect for the events of September 11th, 2001. Embracing our American Tribute Flag containing the names of all those who perished on 9/11 along with those who continue to die, we continue to fulfill our commitment to unit our world in response to the attacks of 9/11 rather than allow it to be torn apart. Events such as these confirm our efforts.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
At Gear Up Foundation we continue to strive for the highest goals. Delivering more and more fire trucks and gear to firefighters in dire need continues in fourteen nations around the world as we continue to expand our footprint and fill in those steps with additional gear and training. We wish to provide even more equipment and training. We are dedicated to providing training facilities for firefighters in each nation we are currently working. We are dedicated to expanding our programs for children in schools in fire prevention and fire safety as we offer hope to all those who to date have little or none. Additionally we look to partner with more corporate sponsors who have a high level of global responsibility.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Through more aggressive corporate sponsorships we will be able to achieve our goals in the coming year and years. Additionally, through partnerships with our embassies in these nations we will be able to develop additional avenues of providing our expertise to local communities. Reaching out to international organizations who are dedicated to supporting our mission is an additional avenue we are investigating while also exploring US partnerships with interests in our theater of operations.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our capabilities continue to increase dramatically. Our experiences have given us tremendous knowledge of local governments and operations in each country of operation. We have expanded our operations from single truck and equipment deliveries to full strategic department deliveries and partnerships for entire municipalities. We are now in a position to offer turn-key support and oversee structure to entire national government through our operations.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Progress is measured and paced in a structured pattern and has not exceeded our ability to manage growth. We have intentionally metered this growth as not to over-reach our own ability to keep things in check. At this point we are ready for a rapid expansion in several areas of operation that will include supply of major cities and in some cases nations.
