Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Children's Day Health Services
Committed to the belief that medical challenges and developmental disabilities should not prevent children from having quality childhood experiences or from reaching their full potential, CRCC opened its first facility 25 years ago and provides comprehensive care services and family support to meet the needs of children who are at risk (drug exposed, neglected and abused), mental health/behavioral challenged and or enduring conditions that include but are not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, feeding and seizure disorders, pre and post-transplant conditions, spinal injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Through the following services and programs we have been nurturing, developing and empowering children: Behavioral Health (therapeutic child care, home-based family therapy and community treatment aides), Day Services, Educational Support, Skilled Nursing, Overnight Weekend and Saturday Respite, Parent Education/Support Programs, Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies, Summer Camp, and Transportation.
Subsidy Program
This vital program bridges gaps and removes barriers in accessing our services. The program’s sole purpose is to provide financial assistance to families that have exhausted all other avenues and/or for which no other funding source is obtainable.
Behavioral Health
Our niche in Behavioral Health is working with families who have a child with a behavioral health issues AND developmental disabilities or chronic medical conditions. Additionally, we work with many dually diagnosed youth with behavioral health needs and developmental disabilities. Our specialized services help to keep families together by reducing family stressors associated with this population. Currently, there are only two other agencies working with this special population in a limited capacity (Omni Behavioral Health and Monroe Meyer) and the need is substantial and much greater.
We provide in-home, evidence-based practices; Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) proven to work with children and youth, and partnerships with the schools. Also, we have a day, classroom-based, Behavioral Health program that is unique in its focus on work with dual-diagnosed children through a trauma-informed care model. A number of children are referred to us from the Child Protection system including foster children. Being accredited will increase our capacity to serve these referrals.
