What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Families with Childrens Services/The Little Treehouse

Families with Children/The Little Treehouse is our newest program. It seeks to permanently end poverty by providing a support system for people who are motivated to permanently break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient. The Little Treehouse provides a safe clean environment for children from birth through elementary school where they can play, read, use a computer for homework all while their parent or caregivers is served a hot meal, access to a shower, pantry food and advocacy.

Population(s) Served

HOME REPAIR uses a volunteer workforce to make health and safety related repairs for very low-income homeowners who are living in substandard, unsafe housing. Most are elderly, disabled or families with children, with neither the skills nor financial means to improve their conditions. We are the only organization offering this kind of program in our area.

Population(s) Served

The Daily Bread Food program provides hot nutritios meals four days per week to 85-130 people whao may be homeless or just needy. There is no criteria to receive a meal. Additionally, the Open Door Pantry provides food, hygiene products, emergency food boxes, and pet food. Most of our programs are only possible because of our volunteers who meet each person with care and compassion.

Population(s) Served

Through generous donations of Motor homes and manufactured homes, CCJ has 11 units in the Prescott area which house 24 people. Most were experiencing homelessness. Second Chance residents are supported by advocates who help them continue their plan to improve their lives and their childrens lives.

Population(s) Served

Stagger Straight Emergency shelter provides a safe environment for up to 50 adults per night, every night of the year. The Shelter opens at 4:00 for adults working programs to improve their lives with the goal of securing employment and housing. For those who have not come to the decision to work towards sobriety and improvement, shelter is still provided. The Shelter guests are required to volunteer with cleanup and maintenance of the Shelter,.

Population(s) Served

CCJ Thrift store provides employment readiness training and clithing and household vouchers to those in need as well as providing revenue to fund other CCJ programs.
