Funding Needs

Our organization's reach and the work that our partners and other organizations are requesting that we undertake are expanding. Our staff, consisting of three part-time consultants, has remained stable. Our top funding need is two -fold. First we need funding that will support the development and production of publications, studies, databases, gatherings, conferences, symposia, networking tools and assessment tools that will support this expanded outreach and programming, all of which is related to the advocacy, coordination, communication, and impact assessment of STEM education and STEM programming in the state of Delaware. Second, we need funding to support additional staff and/or staff time in order to be efficient and effective as we take on this extra work. Our other pressing need is to increase the pool of funds our program committee has available to provide seed grants for school districts, teachers, and other education professionals who submit well-designed, innovative, measurable and replicable pilot programs in the STEM areas, as so judged by the Foundation's program committee.
