All Faiths, One Family

aka IFC   |   Washington, DC   |  www.ifcmw.org/donate

Mission

IFC’s mission is to create an inclusive community of diverse faiths in our nation’s capital that is focused on the values that unite us and the distinctions that make each faith unique. Vision Forty years ago, IFC was born of the conviction that diversity only strengthens the unity of our communities. Today, the need for transformational unity is even more important. As members of the Baha’i, Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Latter-day Saint, Muslim, Protestant, Roman Catholic, Sikh and Zoroastrian faiths, we are resolved to build an inclusive community so that one day people of all religious backgrounds will feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated for their common values and for their diverse beliefs and practices.

Unity Walk

Against the backdrop of violence and pain that we are witnessing in our country, many of us experience a daily struggle to cling to the positive values of compassion and civility that we need to thrive as a nation. Join us in lifting up our hearts and our communities on Sunday, September 8th, at our 14th annual Unity Walk where over 1000 people of all faiths and backgrounds will come together on one day to celebrate the diversity of our region, to visit houses of worship, and most importantly, to listen to each other and ask questions of each other.

The Annual Interfaith Concert brings together community members, performers, and groups from a variety of faith communities to share in a night of interfaith celebration and artistic expression. The concert typically is held in honor of an outstanding community member whose life and work reflects the values of IFC. The Annual Interfaith Concert also serves as the organization's primary fundraising event.
