What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Racial Discrimination Global Rights is expanding the impact of the non-governmental organization connections they helped establish during the 2001 United Nations World Conference Against Racism by partnering with civil rights and social justice groups in the Americas and around the world. Women's Rights Global Rights implements initiatives that promote women's economic rights, support women activists and lawyers, and confront harmful cultural, traditional or religious practices. Human Trafficking Global Rights partners with organizations and governments to ensure that all responses to the trafficking of people into forced labor, slavery and servitude are based upon internationally-recognized human rights standards. Human Rights Lawyering Global Rights trains and partners with legal practitioners and human rights defenders to use laws to empower the disadvantaged and amplify the voices of communities marginalized by systematic racial or gender discrimination. International Criminal Law Global Rights trains and partners with legal practitioners and human rights defenders to develop and support accountability mechanisms for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Inter-American Human Rights System Global Rights builds the capacity of organizations to increase the protection of the rights of Afro-descendant and indigenous communities. United Nations Global Rights helps human rights organizations to become more effective participants in the international arena. Each year, we host and train a delegation of global activists at sessions of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights to facilitate their advocacy efforts
