Hampden Family Center Programs and Services

Study Buddy
One-on-one tutoring for elementary, middle and high school students. Operates on Thursdays at 6pm during the school year.
Summer Enrichment Program
Educational, recreational, art activities and filed trips throughout Baltimore. Operates 5 weeks from June - July Monday - Thursday from 9am-5pm.
Adult Basic Education
Twelve week session offered through Strong City Baltimore to strengthen literacy skills and prepare for the GED class and exam. Operates 4 sessions per year, Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm-8:30pm.
Benefit Assistance
Connects clients to income supporting programs such as SNAP, utility assistance and medical assistance, and provides referrals to substance use treatment, counseling and legal services.
WIC (Women, Infants & Children)
Works with mothers and children (infant-5 years) providing supplemental nutrition information and vouchers. Offered onsite every second Thursday.
Alchoholics Anonymous & Al-Anon
Support group meetings are held at the Center on Mondays at 7pm.
Counseling
In partnership with Family & Children Services, individual, couple and family counseling by appointment only.
