Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
TFAH is committed to serving as a "bold" leader on policy and as a catalyst to promote the work of other public health leaders and organizations. It seeks to engage a diverse set of individuals and organizations to support an increased investment in evidence-based community-health strategies and messages about the importance of a strong public health system. Another goal is to identify and promote communities that are doing the best work in public health. In addition, TFAH implements a role in convening partners, policymakers and other stakeholders in the field to identify policies and the strategies needed to initiate action. And further, it seeks to push the concept of a modernized public health system, prepared for addressing today's biggest threats, including -- preventable chronic diseases, infectious disease threats, and questions of health equity and racial, ethnic and economic disparities.
