Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Community Based Mentoring

This is the traditional Big Brothers Big Sisters relationship, where Bigs and Littles get together on their own to share fun activities they both enjoy. Matches typically meet for two hours a week.

Population(s) Served

It may sound obvious, but sometimes the best place to help a child realize their potential is at school or community center. Kids enjoy having their Bigs meet with them in a familiar location and volunteers can enjoy the benefits of a more-structured, less time-intensive opportunity.

Bigs and Littles meet one-to-one, typically once a week, to read together, play sports or computer games, or simply talk about life and personal issues – just as friends do. At the end of the day, it’s really all about starting a friendship, providing guidance and inspiring them to reach their potential.
