Challenge Course Team Building

Verdun Adventure Bound is a 55-acre facility located in Rixeyville, VA. Founded by Dr. David Snyder in 1999, Verdun is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization striving to make a positive impact in the lives of adults and children in the community and to support stewardship of the land.

Verdun houses a thirty-three-element challenge course including twenty low ropes elements and thirteen pole based high ropes elements. This challenge course is used by the qualified Verdun staff to enhance teamwork, communication, leadership ability, social skills, critical thinking, and so much more. Verdun uses the Outward Boundâ„¢ and experiential learning models to teach valuable life lessons and strengthen relationships through experience and adversity.

Verdun also houses a greenhouse, two ponds, hiking trails, and campsites. These resources combined with local resources such as the Rappahannock and Shenandoah Rivers, Shenandoah National Park, and Lake Anna provide Verdun with an extensive number of activities to use in a variety of programs.
