Mission

Angel Flight America provides, through its members, access for people in need seeking free air transportation to specialized health care facilities or distant destinations for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. 1/3 of Angel Flight mission flights are for children and 2/3 for adults and senior citizens with hundreds of different illnesses, challenges and personal crises.

Free Flights - Offers hope and help for ambulatory patients during a time of crisis by providing free transportation to life-sustaining treatment at distant medical facilities.
On-call Pre-arranged Transplant service - When potential transplant recipients receive last-minute notice that an organ is available for them, our on-call pilots are ready to fly patients delivering them within hours to distant medical facilities.
Companion Transport - To ensure each patient's well-being, we also provide transportation for a support person accompanying the patient, usually a family member or friend.
Precious Cargo Transport - Transports precious cargo such as organs, blood, tissue and medical supplies.
Disaster Response - Volunteer pilots have been called upon to transport agencie representatives, volunteers and individuals during times of disaster.
