YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

Notes from the nonprofit

When is a local nonprofit not just a local nonprofit? When they have the U.S. Army's Fort Bragg next door with 50,000 active duty soldiers with thousands of children ages 11-19, our target age group. According to Cumberland County Schools' 2020 Report, 26% of their students are related to the federal government meaning mostly U.S. Army dependents. So when you help us, we help America's kids right here in our local area, before we send them off to their next duty station.

Campus Life

Campus Life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.

City Life is launching in 2022 and it is a national ministry model of Youth For Christ USA. City Life is focused on at-risk and under-served young people ages 11-19. City Life is a relational ministry that focuses on these five areas of literacy: Spiritual and Moral, Education, Social and Civic, Health and Safety, and Economic. The intended effects are: Spiritual growth occurs as basic needs are met and focus shifts from "surviving" to "thriving." Young people have learned and are practicing basic life skills. Lost young people grow in their knowledge and understanding of Biblical truths and are becoming lifelong followers of Jesus. Young people are achieving and experiencing educational success. Young people are becoming positive influences with their peers and in the community. Young people understand and cultivate a lifestyle of Godly stewardship.
