Bi-Weekly Beach Clean-Ups with Trash Talk
The Dolphin Foundation each week hosts at least 2 clean ups to protect habitats & nature/wildlife, to educate the public, to role model, to diminish health hazzards like cancers from eating fish from contaminated waters with human ciggies, to provide community service hours to high schoolers to graduate, to give the public a forum to interact and make a differance, and to promote recycling practices and awareness for the community via our Trash Talk ending conversation about recycling on our bi-weekly beach clean-ups. The clean-ups commence with a fun scavanger hunt speech putting kids in charge using their own self-brought grocery bags to empower each child and family member. Weekly emails and bridge toll passes are sent out with flyers and directions. Recruiting is a weekly must as is calling volunteers to encourage their attendance and to thank them for helping the environment after a clean-upledge and ceremony. Mermi The Mermiad, our spokefish hero, pushes for a a U.S. Refund on Bottles & Cans and shows us just how easy recycling is and how much it is needed to save humanity--especially in a recession--as well as save her/our sea-animals/oceans. Let's Help Mermi By Doing Our Part!
Cell Phones Recycling Project to End Gorilla Cruelty
THE DOLPHIN FOUNDATION collects cell phones to recycle into other cell phones. High schoolers get community service hours, companies with bulk get full refunds, and all know that the purpose is to save gorrilla habitats and gorrillas from destruction. Reportedly, there is a mineral in every cell phone called Colton which is extracted at all costs to hurt the environment and wild animals. If we make it harder for them who extract the mineral by hoarding most or all of the mineral, it will lessen the demand for the mineral and the making of cell phones may be very productive by re-using the mineral over and over again without need to dig up Colton (the mineral). To help with this cause, THE DOLPHIN FOUNDATION wishes to call upon big name sponsors of phone companies to work with us to set up post stations/collection boxes in their stores as collection sites to promote the recycling of cell phones into other cell phones to protect the mighty voiceless and defenseless gorrillas and their habitats to end the destruction and commence RECYCLING as a United World for One Cause.
Orca Tank Expansion Fundraising Project
THE DOLPHIN FOUNDATION is raising funds in an anonymous way to help an orca from the L Pod with a bigger tank. Her owner won't be thrilled, but it is a fair and just deal. Legally, it should be done. Compassionately, it will be done. THE DOLPHIN FOUNDATION does not see this orca as capable of being released into the wild and prays for help tpo achieve her healthier accommodations. Visit the news section on Guidestar where we post more on this topic.
The Let Dolphin & Whales Live Project: 2011
Because Dolphin captures and killings are worldwide rampid, THE DOLPHIN FOUNDATION has longed to end this for years, before it became popular. Now with Facebook and Causes, We Can Do It! We can end the captures with our experience and persistance in an educational format. Dolphins in Brazil, China, Denmark, Japan, and in other countries need us to be a voice. Our trademark is Mermi The Mermaid and with her and your support, we can speak to governments to help them turn this around with tourism to end the brutal captures and to bring in revenue for them in another format other than dolphin & whale captures though it is tradition respectfully..
