Mission Statement

The mission and ministry of SCAIHS is to provide educational counseling and encouragement to parents as they shepherd their children through their educational journeys. SCAIHS seeks to assist parents to provide the best education possible, equipping their students to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He leads. SCAIHS services will reflect moral, ethical, and Christian values in the programs, publications, and services offered.
The SCAIHS philosophy is to promote and protect homeschool freedoms for all homeschoolers, regardless of religion, race, color, national, or ethnic origin.

  1. What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
    The mission and ministry of SCAIHS is to provide educational counseling and encouragement to parents as they shepherd their children through their educational journeys. SCAIHS seeks to assist parents to provide the best education possible, equipping their students to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He leads. SCAIHS services will reflect moral, ethical, and Christian values in the programs, publications, and services offered.

  2. What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
    Building relationships with homeschool parents we offer them educational counseling and encouragement; assisting parents as they strive to offer their children the best possible education.
  3. What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
    We have seven counselors who build the afore stated relationships with homeschool parents. We work year round to assist parents in whatever way we can.
  4. How will they know if they are making progress?
    Membership growth. Student success.
  5. What have and haven't they accomplished so far?
    Graduated hundreds of high school students. Our transcripts are accepted nationally by many colleges; we maintain students records and are able to offer educational verification.

Stephan A. “Alex" Zelling is co-founder and co-owner of Palmetto Payroll Solutions, established in 1996. He and his wife, Suzanne, joined SCAIHS in 2005 when their daughter was just starting school. He is a homeschool activist sincerely proclaiming its merits.
