Our LSUE Performing Arts Series features local, regional, and national performers and speakers for presentations to LSUE students, as well as the general public of Acadiana. The Series works to nurture the unique cultural resources that are abundant in Louisiana. From hot dance steps to traditional music, from distinct regional musical sounds to folk tales, for over a decade now, the LSUE Performing Arts Series has sponsored many artistic and cultural projects. The volunteer organizers, Dr. Anthony and Mrs. Donna Baltakis, recognize that together higher education and the performing arts share a broad range of mutually supportive activities through which they enrich each other.
