KNOW Hunger Project-Mississippi The Know Hunger Project was developed and implemented as a grasroots, community-baseed, hunger relief and health awareness pilot program in Jackson/Vicksburg. Mississippi via the Urbna Leajgue of Greater Jackson (ULGJ). Theprogram engaged key legislators, city officials, hunger organization, influential stakeholder, financial contributors, health and nutrition chefsL Tyson Foods Team Members, and Tyson business partners. Victims Assistsant Program "VOCA" The program assit family members who have incurred financial loss as a direct result of a crimial act, by providing support and servicces inthe aftermath of the crime. Theprogram is specifically targeted to survivors of victims of homicide and included seven contiguous counties in Central Mississippi Copiah, Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Warren and Yazoo.
