THE ASSOCIATION IS CONSTITUTED AND ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE REPRESENTATION OF THE COUNTY MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO WAGES, WORKING HOURS, FRINGE BENEFITS, GRIEVANCES AND OTHER EMPLOYEE RELATION AFFAIRS.

BUTTE COUNTY MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION BCMEA MET AND CONFERRED WITH BUTTE COUNTY REGARDING WAGES, HOURS, BENEFITS, AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR MID-MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES COVERED UNDER THE BCMEA BARGAINING GROUP. BCMEA CONTINUED MANAGEMENT OF GRIEVANCES, ARBITRATIONS, SKELLY HEARINGS, AND GENERAL DISCIPLINARY MATTERS THAT MEMBERS BRING FORTH TO THE ASSOCIATION. BCMEA IS ACTIVE ON SEVERAL BUTTE COUNTY COMMITTEES INCLUDING THE 457 COMMITTEE, THE HEALTH AND BENEFITS COMMITTEE WHICH INCLUDED AN EXTENSIVE RESEARCH AND VOTE TO LEAVE THE CALPERS HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. BCMEA ALSO MET AND CONFERRED WITH THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP TO DISCUSS NEGOCIATIONS STATUS.
