What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Academics and The Arts

Academics and
The Arts. The purpose is to provide tutoring,
coaching and mentoring to youth to help them succeed in school and to know their strengths and weakness in order to reach their fullest potential. We
focus heavily on the youth knowing who they are as human beings to help them
develop self-awareness, self-confidence, and dreams of what they could do. “What the mind can
conceive and believe, it can achieve. For success, we use positive
“peer tutoring and role modeling;” adult role models, speakers, teachers,
mentors,  professionals. The Hall of Famers are great resources. Long
term and short term  success is important. Program is monitored by program
evaluators, staff , board, parents, community and other stakeholders. We also use the arts to bring out the artistic characteristics of youth and seniors.

Population(s) Served

This program is designed to honor and recognize retired or long-time educators who have given more than the-call-of-duty in their perspective fields during their years of service. The selected educators are recommended by their peers, community members, students and others who are aware of their educational and  humanitarian contributions. They are often unsung heroes who have overcome challenges on their way to successful serving and giving back and positive role models for youths. This program is intergenerational and build valuable bonds among the youth and seniors.  We publish historical biographical sketches of the Inductees and these books serve as valuable historical biographies for the youths to read and learn from. The youths often "shadow" career and academic professionals to learn more about those fields.

Population(s) Served

The purposes are to help preserve the legacies of outstanding humanitarian educators and their contributions to humanity;to provide a place for research, teaching and learning about the educators, their philosophies, and contributions (curricula, books, articles, artifacts) to humanity and society; Here we train youths in communication and leadership skills.to provide a center where educators, parents, community, and students can gather for teaching, learning, discussions, debates and studying (after school and at other times)to provide a library or “landmark” historical books, materials, etc.
