What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Undergraduate Programs
Oklahoma City University offers more than 70 undergraduate programs in nursing, performing arts, business, and arts and sciences. At OCU we believe that the liberal arts form the basis for learning and thinking in undergraduate studies. We believe that general education should not only provide knowledge and skills, but also promote personal values and communal development. We believe that general education should be multidimensional, cumulative and integrated throughout the university through all disciplines and at all levels.
Graduate Programs
Oklahoma City University offers 20 graduate degrees, including a law degree, MBA, Physician Assistant Studies, and doctoral programs in nursing and physical therapy. Most of OCU's graduate degrees have an "area of emphasis." This helps students to choose the field of study for which they are best suited within a degree program. This focused area of study will develop and complement students' interests, abilities and goals and will ultimately give them the best possible preparation for careers in their respective fields.
Adult Degree Completion Program
The Adult Degree Completion Program at Oklahoma City University features a flexible and accelerated format with eight-week classes on weekday nights, weekends and online. Programs are offered in Arts & Sciences and Nursing. Through portfolios, some students can receive credit for college-level work experience and learning.
