Community Respite Development

Alzheimer's Texas offers caregiver educational and emotional support through a variety of virtual and in-person events, workshops, and consultations. We strive to help caregivers, care partners, and health care workers with the stress that comes with being a full-time caregiver to someone with dementia or Alzheimer's.

Local 24/7 Helpline offering information, referral, and phone support assistance to callers by providing emotional support, community resources, and reliable information regarding Alzheimer's and related disorders.

An array of educational programs designed to equip the diagnosed individual, family members, and professional care providers with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance the quality of life of individuals with dementia.

Designed to assist the person with Alzheimer's and their family in planning for and dealing with all aspects of the illness including needs assessment, planning, and problem-solving.

Over 55 caregiver support groups are available in the central region of Texas. Groups meet monthly to provide a forum for learning, socializing, discussing, and supporting one another on Alzheimer's related issues. Groups are facilitated by trained volunteers.
