Trumpeter swan restoration
Trumpeter swans are being restored to Yellowstone National Park. Nesting pairs of swans numbered near 20 pairs, in 2017 only two pairs remained in the Park.

Trumpeter swans are an icon for wetland habitats that benefit numerous in the species in the arid west.
