Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Art Association
The Art Association has made visual art a vital part of creative life in Jackson Hole for nearly 60 years. The staff, board, instructors, and volunteers provide visual art experiences to the local community.
Comprised of five studios, an art supply store, and a gallery, our facility provides over 10,000 square-feet of space to learn, practice, and exhibit art. Beginner to master level instruction is offered in the mediums of painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography, silversmithing, glass, printmaking, mixed media, and more including low income or at-risk youth and outreach sessions for more than 30 different service organizations in the valley.
Our contemporary art gallery features local, regional, national, and international artists in shows throughout the year, and welcomes nearly 1,200 visitors annually.
We produce many events including Art Fair Jackson Hole, Takin’ It To the Streets fair, Teton Mudpots Studio sales, Whodunnit? Anonymous Art Sale & Show, and The Holiday Bazaar where locals and visitors alike exhibit and sell their work.
As a nonprofit, we offer memberships and sponsorships opportunities which provide many benefits including class discounts, open studio eligibility and tickets to our events.
The Art Association is the leading visual arts education resource in Northwest Wyoming. We are able to provide programming and events thanks to the ongoing support of our community of volunteers, donors, sponsors, foundations, and corporations.
Supported in part by the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, grants from the Wyoming Arts Council and the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, and the National Endowment for the Arts for CARES Act Funding.
