Helping ordinary people partner with God to accomplish the extraordinary.

aka CTEN

Mission

We partner with missionaries and thier local church to help them fulfill their specific God-given ministry in the U.S. and abroad. By helping missionaries with administrative duties, we make it possible for them to concentrate on their ministry. Rather than the missionary serving the mission, CTEN serves the missionary, with pastoral and administrative care, enabling them to fulfill their unique calling. The local church has a vital role in sending missionaries. We maintain a supportive relationship serving both the church and the missionary. This enables the church and the mission agency to both do what they do best so the missionary can be of maximum effectiveness on the field.

What we aim to solve New!

On an ongoing basis, we try to provide as many pastoral care couples as needed to keep each international region covered in a way that deep relationships are established. Our goal is to come alongside the local mission in the country of service and the local church in America to be a helpmate in assuring health, safety and fruitful ministry for each missionary.
Therefore we are continually monitoring the numbers in each region to determine when another couple needs to be added to ensure significant relationship with pastoral staff.

To help ordinary people partner with God to do the extraordinary. To assist each servant in a way that encourages health and safety in an effort to help them accomplish their call from the Lord. To be an informal missional partner to the US church who sent them to serve.

We provide excellence in overseeing their donations and distributing them monthly. We maintain the highest value in helping our donors to give in a way that is simple and accountable.

We provide resources their help the missionary accomplish their goals. They include a publishing department that will print and mail their newsletters, a research assistant that will help them find a variety of resources to compliment their call and a pastoral couple with missional experience that will be their primary contact at CTEN. This couple will stay in touch on a regular basis and visit them on the field minimally every two years. Upon return from visiting , the pastoral couple will call their US church and give a report of the status of their sent-one.

We endeavor to maintain the right mix of home staff that will provide the means to assist missionaries in their call to serve. We work at updating our infrastructure so our communications can be clear and secure. We have a professional in missional security on staff to monitor the security situations in the nations our folks are serving. He is available for all situational crises with advice and , if need be, being on sight.

Our staff meets 4 times a year to survey our ministry and how we process our various needs of those we serve. Our general Board meets twice a year to hear reports and offer counsel as needed. The Executive Director and Founder meet often to discuss situations as they unfold and determine a course of action as required.

Our annual net gain in missionaries joining our organization is approximately 9%-10%. This allows us to adjust as needed to maintain the highest level of care and service to those we serve.

We focus on doing the next right thing day by day and trust the Lord to give direction as we move forward. As we look to the future, our vision is to stay ahead of need by providing the added resources required to maintain excellence. We are accountable to the general board, our donors, and one another. In addition, we are accountable to outside organizations such as ECFA, Charity Navigators, GuideStar and MinistryWatch who monitor our operations in a variety of ways.
