Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Increase awareness of poetry at all levels in the community and untie poets from around the world at an annual festival.

1) Host an annual festival, inviting local, state nd international poets.

2) publish adult and youth poetry anthologies

3) bring poetry to K-12 students through a series of workshops and poetry performances

The organization' governing Board is comprised of poets and poets lead performances.

Submissions to anthologies are controlled by published poets and subject to editorial review.

Several members of the organization's leadership have elementary school experience as educators and administrators.

The organization has sponsored 25 consecutive annual festivals and published anthologies for as many years, seeing attendance and submissions grow by several hundred percent. The thrust for the next several years will be to move performances into mainstream school settings and interface with international festivals.
