Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The Addison Arbor Foundation's volunteers and donors work together to beautify and bring interest to the Town of Addison's parks and public spaces by planting trees, refreshing landscapes and by identifying and installing public art. The Foundation also seeks to provide meaningful gardening and art-related seminars. The community garden provides ongoing donations to the Metrocrest Services food bank.

Promote awareness of the Addison Arbor Foundation's mission through personal contact, written communications, website, social media, printed brochures and education events.

Raise funds through donations from a variety of sources, including individuals; businesses; Town of Addison nonprofit assistance grants; and by collaborating with local businesses on creative events and programs.

Individual and business donors, who share our passion, provide financial support for the Addison Arbor Foundation's mission.

With no paid staff, our volunteers give their time, expertise and resources to manage and bring life to the Addison Arbor Foundation's mission, projects and fundraising efforts.

The Town of Addison's Parks Department generously provides assistance to review ideas and when installing works of art.

Landscapes. From its inception, the Addison Arbor Foundation has provided funding to refresh existing landscapes, and we continue to work with the Town of Addison to identify additional landscaping projects. In fiscal year 2020, we provided funding to plant 42 trees throughout the Town of Addison and commissioned an artists to carve creatures in four stumps from trees that were destroyed in severe storms.

Public art. From 2012 through September 2020, the Addison Arbor Foundation has installed 18 works of public art throughout the Town of Addison. Working with the Town of Addison, we will identify additional opportunities for public art installations and venues.

Community garden. The Addison Arbor Foundation worked with the Town of Addison to install the popular community garden for residents.

Education events/seminars. The Addison Arbor Foundation holds 1-2 events.

Public awareness. We are working to raise public awareness of our existence, mission and accomplishments.

Fundraising. We continue to develop strategies for fundraising and sponsorships.
