What we aim to solve

Each year, there are so many horses, mules and donkeys that are abandoned, abused and neglected. Many are just sent to kill pens to be shipped to slaughter.
At Throwaway Ponies, our goal is to save and re-home as many as possible or at least let them live out their lives in a safe, loving environment.
Not only do the horses benefit, but so do the volunteers who care for them. Many are young teens who learn about caring for something other than themselves. Many are older people looking for a way to make a difference in the world.
