What we aim to solve New!

One in twenty children under 16 lose a parent. The potentially devastating impact of such a loss is tremendous. Inheritance of Hope comes alongside families at a dark time and shines light into their lives.

1 | Continue Legacy Retreats® as the ultimate way to inspire hope and to gain insights from the families to whom we
minister directly.
2 | Create content in order to minister with greater depth and breadth.
3 | Use content and expertise to position Inheritance of Hope (IoH) as the leader in legacy development for young
families facing the loss of a parent.

1 | Continue Legacy Retreats® as the ultimate way to inspire hope and to gain insights from the families to whom we
minister directly.

IoH continues to pursue new partnerships (e.g., hotels, airlines, theme parks) in its existing Legacy Retreat® locations
(Orlando, NYC) as well as seeking new retreat locations to better serve families across the United States.

2 | Create content in order to minister with greater depth and breadth.

We are developing webinars, new books, printed resources for families, translations of existing materials, new videos, and bible studies to broaden our content.

3 | Use content and expertise to position Inheritance of Hope as the leader in legacy development for young families
facing the loss of a parent.

A key goal of Inheritance of Hope's strategic initiatives is to develop and curate programs that position the
organization as a thought leader in legacy development. As such, we will:
1 | increase awareness of the incredible need within our society (1 in 20 children, aged 15 and under, will suffer the loss of a parent)
2 | develop products of value for families and communities we serve
3 | deliver unparalleled service in a way that is sustainable on a national scale

The expansion of these resources will not only complement the families we host, but also serve families and caregivers
nationwide who are unable to attend our Legacy Retreat®.

Inheritance of Hope has grown our pool of volunteers to 232. We have solid partnerships that allow us to deliver life-changing Legacy Retreats® while stretching the donated dollar. IoH has Founders who have lived through the illness and death of a parent, as well as an Executive Director who has the perspective of facing both the illness and loss of a spouse.

We are able to see the life-changing impact through reviews at greatnonprofits.org. Since 2011, IoH has been named Top-Rated, consistently receiving highest reviews.

Inheritance of Hope has also been recognized as "Top 10 Children's Charity in North America" by Theravive, a network of licensed therapists and psychologists.

We have begun a pre and post event survey process to indicate impact in focus areas.

As of March 2018, IoH has served 424 families from 40 states. In 2018, we will serve 100 families at six Legacy Retreats in Orlando, New York City, Los Angeles, and Golden, Colorado. We continue to cultivate relationships with new partners to host Legacy Retreats® in new locations.
