Community Pregnancy Center of Pasadena
Building Strong Families
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Today, at Community Pregnancy Center, we see many people who have little or no knowledge of God. They are making some of the most important decisions of their lives - regarding pregnancy options - without the benefit of knowing there is a Savior who loves and wants the best for them. Additionally, we are seeing, at CPC, single-parent families and often absent fathers, and more and more grandparents raising their grandchildren.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Point To Success
Our Point To Success Program is available for all of our clients, free of charge. Each week the expectant moms and dads come to class. Classes cover a variety of life skills including College 101, Basic Financial Budgeting, Pre-natal care, Parenting, and Adoption education, Labor and Delivery, Diet and Nutrition. By coming to class, these clients EARN points. Also, homework assignments, book reports, attendance, and participation add to the client's point totals with which they are able to "Purchase" baby items donated to the program such as diapers, formula, baby beds, strollers, clothing, and other essentials.

We strive to spread the good news of Jesus, to build strong families in our community and, to provide life-affirming support to our clients.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Provide free pregnancy tests and ultra-sounds to demonstrate the proof of life.
Empathetically listen and learn about our client's situation, so that she can see the issues from all sides and make an informed decision. We want that client to know and believe that there are people who care and want to see them make sound decisions based on her circumstances.
Provide parenting, prenatal, and lifeskill education in order to help build strong families,
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
