Charting Impact

Self-reported by organization

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

  1. What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
To fundraise enough to have the funds to support our Teacher, School and Students. Whether it be band equipment needed, transportation for our students to competition, other travel or program fees.
  2. What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
To keep our budget balanced and to have the funds needed at the end of each fiscal year to cover the next fiscal year needs. To be able to fundraise without our parents feeling overburden with the lack of funds needed to have the program running smoothly.
  3. What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have a strong board. Our board members have a diverse background and all are capable volunteers; one board member is an attorney. All are parents of the students who care about the music program as a whole.
  4. How will they know if they are making progress?
Balanced budget. We want no expenses planned without verifiable income means to meet that expense. We want the Director of Bands to not feel the overburden feeling of not having what he needs to teach and maintain the board program.
  5. What have and haven't they accomplished so far?
Progress has been to verify we have done all of our non profit requirements. That we enrolled in GuideStar which highly regarded as a means to have our status verified.
