Funding Needs

1. Workforce and Professional Development - The skills that participants in adult education programs may need to develop have increasingly important implications in terms of workforce success, long-term self-sufficiency, and positive acculturation. APEX Leadership Academy needs funding to develop curriculum as well as volunteer facilitators for its online educational sessions. 2. Nationally, graduation rates for Black teens are around 50 percent. Statistics have shown, In many large and urban school districts, more than half of Black males drop out of school. This large achievement gap between Black males and others exists often times before they start school and continues throughout their lifespan, all of which requires the attention of APEX Leadership Academy's ACTIVATE MY GREATNESS Male Mentoring Program. This program needs funding and facilitators for its programmatic and academic efforts.
