Community Enterprise Development

Ahmsa builds and strengthens
micro-enterprises in economically depressed areas to alleviate poverty and
contribute to community driven development. The entrepreneurial experience not
only generates income and employment for marginalized groups, but it also
catalyzes psychosocial recovery for armed conflict victims by stimulating
creativity, personal motivation and community cohesion. These ahmsa services
include:

Capacity Building and Skills Training - Ahmsa
provides a range of training services for micro-enterprises and
individuals in poverty-stricken areas, including:
Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Vocational and Technical
Skills, Market Consolidation, Solidarity Economics, Conflict
Resolution, Human Rights, Social Values and Identity Affirmation

Seed Capital - Ahmsa
supports micro-enterprises with seed capital in the form of microcredit,
equipment and materials.
